{"id":9456,"date":"2022-10-26T18:33:30","date_gmt":"2022-10-26T16:33:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trt.it\/en\/harmony-h2020-training-workshops\/"},"modified":"2022-10-27T13:31:47","modified_gmt":"2022-10-27T11:31:47","slug":"harmony-h2020-training-workshops","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.trt.it\/en\/harmony-h2020-training-workshops\/","title":{"rendered":"HARMONY H2020 Training Workshops"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-9452 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.trt.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Digital-banner_ALL_final-version-1024x576.png\" alt=\"Digital banner_ALL_final version\" width=\"960\" height=\"540\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.trt.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Digital-banner_ALL_final-version-1024x576.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.trt.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Digital-banner_ALL_final-version-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/www.trt.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Digital-banner_ALL_final-version-768x432.png 768w, https:\/\/www.trt.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Digital-banner_ALL_final-version-260x146.png 260w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width:767px) 480px, (max-width:960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>H2020 funded project HARMONY<\/strong> aims to develop a new generation of <strong>harmonised spatial and multimodal transport planning tools<\/strong>, to represent new forms of mobility for freight and people, enabling metropolitan areas authorities to lead the transition to a low carbon new mobility era in a sustainable manner.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The project got into full swing this week with the Training Workshops, with the first event taking place in Delft (NL), hosted by <strong>TUD &#8211; Delft University of Technology<\/strong>: TRT contributed to a two days presentation and demonstration of the <strong>HARMONY Model Suite (MS)<\/strong>, an integrated modeling platform to support transport planning and policies analysis, including measures and services aiming at the <strong>decarbonization of mobility in metropolitan areas<\/strong>. The HARMONY MS is developed with the goal of having a software-agnostic, multi-scale, activity-based tool that can be used through a user-friendly web interface by different types of users (planners, decision makers, researchers, and transport service operators).<\/p>\n<p>The Model Suite integrates different models with a multi-scale approach, considering Strategic (Long Term), Tactical (Medium Term) and Operational (Short Term) Level tools. The models have been integrated by partner <strong>MOBYX<\/strong> into a platform accessible online, enabling the simulations of different scenarios and the comparison of results through selected indicators in the HARMONY MS Dashboard.<\/p>\n<p>In Delft, workshop\u2019 participants were able to access and use the HARMONY MS for the first time.
