The study was carried out for the European Commission \u2013 DG MOVE by a consortium led by Ricardo, with the participation of TRT Trasporti e Territorio, TIS and TEPR.<\/p>\n\n<p>The study supports the Commission in shaping future European initiatives on multimodal booking and rail ticket distribution, by analysing the functioning of digital platforms that allow users to compare and purchase services offered by different transport operators and across different modes.<\/p>\n\n<p>On the demand side, the study explored both the existing and potential demand for the use of MDMS services.
