We are proud to announce that our colleagues Espedito Saponaro<\/strong> and Andrea Lai<\/strong> contributed to the winning of the \u201cNeil Mansfield Award<\/em>\u201d at the European Transport Conference<\/strong> (ETC) 2024. The award was given for the paper titled \u201cSmart Road assessment: analysis of impacts on levels of service, emissions and road safety<\/em>\u201d, presented by Marco Sala (NET Engineering), along with contributions from other professionals including Giovanni Acciaro, Margherita Sartori, and Eugenio Morello.<\/p>\n

The judges praised the paper for its well-structured approach and robust analysis, recognizing its positive contribution to research and the industry on smart roads, road safety, and emissions reduction.<\/p>\n
