{"id":11809,"date":"2024-06-27T12:19:22","date_gmt":"2024-06-27T10:19:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trt.it\/en\/PROGETTI\/adsp-mare-sicilia-orientale-2\/"},"modified":"2025-10-08T08:21:37","modified_gmt":"2025-10-08T06:21:37","slug":"adsp-mare-sicilia-orientale-2-2","status":"publish","type":"portfolio","link":"https:\/\/www.trt.it\/en\/progetti\/adsp-mare-sicilia-orientale-2-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Urban and Transport Masterplan of Isola della Scala"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Urban reorganization and landscape requalification sheet \u2013 Logistic hub in Isola della Scala<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The Municipality of Isola della Scala, affected by the provisions of the \u00abQuadrante Europa Area Plan\u00bb (PAQE), which include \u2013 among others \u2013 the development of a logistics hub on its territory, has entrusted TRT Ingegneria with the service of drafting a Masterplan called \u00abUrban reorganization and landscape requalification sheet\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The focal point of the logistics hub is the provision for an intermodal centre, an infrastructure specialized in rail-to-rail and rail-to-road exchange functions located along the Verona-Bologna railway line (on the Brenner route and part of the TEN-T \u00abScandinavian-Mediterranean\u00bb corridor).<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"447\" height=\"203\" src=\"https:\/\/www.trt.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/Isola-della-scala-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13746\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.trt.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/Isola-della-scala-2.png 447w, https:\/\/www.trt.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/Isola-della-scala-2-300x136.png 300w, https:\/\/www.trt.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/Isola-della-scala-2-150x68.png 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width:767px) 447px, 447px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Methodologically, the drafting process of the Masterplan is structured into the following macro-actions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Analysis of the regulatory and planning framework, starting from the PAQE, the Territorial Plan (PAT) of the Municipality of Isola della Scala, and its Intervention Plan (PI);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analysis of the urban and landscape context, with specific reference to the portions of urbanized territory as well as to agricultural and environmentally valuable and landscape territory;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analysis of the mobility networks and services, including existing, planned, and envisaged private and public connections (with specific reference to the 11 themed areas identified by the PAQE) and the road and rail accessibility conditions to the intermodal centre\u2019s location;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Definition of macro-intervention strategies and subsequent discussion of intervention options, both with the Municipality and with the main stakeholders involved in urban and territorial transformations;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drafting of the Masterplan through a unitary study and proposal of the 11 themes identified in the PAQE (\u00abThe city of education\u00bb, \u00abRelocation of the hospital hub\u00bb, \u00abArea of research and innovative tertiary\u00bb, \u00abArea for agri-food development\u00bb, \u00abThe rice supply chain\u00bb, \u00abIntermodal centre area\u00bb, \u00abArea for logistics and agri-food and innovation supply chain\u00bb, \u00abMarket road area\u00bb, \u00abAgro-cultural paths\u00bb, \u00abThe eco-mills of the Tartaro River\u00bb, and \u00abAgricamping area\u00bb);
