Description of work:

We look for an intermediate/senior Urban Transport Modeller to join our team in the Milan office. The position will involve working as part of a multidisciplinary team in urban transport modelling projects, which would imply the development of macro and micro simulation models for passenger movements and freight distribution in urban areas.

The candidate Urban Transport Modeller will work in research projects and consultancy services and will operate in an international environment also in partnership with companies and universities of different EU countries. He or she will develop quantitative analysis, support the drafting and publication of reports, prepare and present scientific articles and contribute to communication and dissemination tasks within the projects.

Description of work:

The Macro-Economist position will involve working as part of a multidisciplinary team in integrated assessment of economic impacts of transport policy and transport investments. The transport sector is highly correlated with the economy, energy and social systems and is influenced by factors like technology innovation, market development, trade and social patterns; the area of work of the candidate Macro-Economist will be focused on the analysis of the links between macro-economic and transport sectors. The candidate will need to have attitude for quantitative methods and will be part of the development team of the ASTRA strategic System Dynamics model of the EU (http://www.astra-model.eu/).

The candidate Macro-Economist will work in research projects and consultancy services and will operate in an international environment in partnership with companies and universities of different EU countries. He or she will develop quantitative analysis, support the drafting and publication of reports, source and write scientific articles and contribute to communication, information and dissemination tasks within the projects.

La Logistica Merci Urbana: impatti e soluzioni per le città

Il 7 novembre dalle ore 14,30 alle 17,30 si terrà il convegno a cura di Kyoto Club e CNR IIA “La Logistica Merci Urbana: impatti e soluzioni per le città”. Il convegno avrà luogo presso la Sala Mimosa 1 – Fiera di Rimini. Questa sarà l’occasione per discutere e valutare l’impatto che il settore del trasporto merci ha sull’ambiente e sulla qualità dell’aria utilizzando dati e statistiche relativi alle principali città italiane contenuti nel report MobilitAria 2018.  Cosimo Chiffi parteciperà per TRT ed esporrà i temi “Le esperienze Italiane ed europee per la logistica ad emissioni zero” e “La logistica a pedali” come esempi di buone pratiche adottate in alcuni Comuni italiani per abbattere le emissioni grazie all’adozione di strategie sostenibili per la distribuzione urbana efficiente del trasporto.

TRT al Workshop Green Mobility di Padova

In occasione del workshop “Green Mobility” che si svolgerà a Padova il 19 Ottobre, in Sala Caduti di Nassiriya dalle ore 9.30, Patrizia Malgieri, Direttore Area Pianificazione di TRT, parteciperà come relatore alla presentazione dei Piani Urbani Mobilità Sostenibile per illustrarne le potenzialità. I temi trattati sono: lo stato di applicazione PUMS, il Piano come occasione di ridisegno spazio urbano, infrastrutturazione elettrica per gli ZEV, case history locali o di altre città.

Citytech_2018In occasione della Manifestazione Citytech, che si terrà a Milano alla Fabbrica del Vapore il 13 -14 settembre 2018,  Patrizia Malgieri, Direttore Area Pianificazione, parteciperà per TRT al “Panel III: I Piani Urbani (PUMS) occasione per la transizione a emissioni zero, ridisegno dello spazio”. Il Panel III si terrà nella giornata di venerdì 14 settembre all’interno del Forum “Quale mobilità: Green Mobility, come cambiare la città” che è organizzato da Legambiente e Lorien Consulting.

In occasione dell’avvio del Progetto Match-Up, coordinato dall’Università di Bologna e dedicato al tema dell’interscambio modale, Giuseppe Galli, partner di TRT, ha illustrato le potenzialità del MaaS (Mobility as a Service), quale futuro ambito di ricerca sul fronte dell’ottimizzazione delle soluzioni di mobilità sostenibile. TRT è infatti coinvolta attivamente nel progetto di ricerca europeo MaaS4EU, che propone un nuovo approccio alla mobilità, mettendo al centro gli utenti i cui bisogni di spostamento sono soddisfatti grazie al supporto di piattaforme tecnologiche in grado di offrire un servizio integrato di trasporto anziché singoli “prodotti.
